Fifth Annual Rivers Rock! Ogeechee River Revival
Paddle your way to Moon River Brewing Company at 21 West Bay Street Thursday, October 4 from 7 to 10 p.m. and join Ogeechee River Keepers and their supporters for the Fifth Annual Rivers Rock! event.
Moon River will be serving up its popular craft beer and savory fare to the tunes of regional band Swamp Cabbage. Ticket sales, a silent auction, and raffle proceeds all go to benefit the Ogeechee River Basin. The Riverkeepers are dedicated to reversing the trend of declining water quality in the Ogeechee River Basin, which includes the Ogeechee and its major tributary the Canoochee River. Many Georgia citizens depend on these bodies for their drinking water, yet there is an increasing struggle to maintain their health. This annual event is the perfect opportunity to meet the Riverkeepers and find out how you can contribute to the conservation effort. Tickets are $35 in advance or $45 at the door.
