SCAD will host the nationwide broadcast of ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” Savannah at Trustees Theater. SCAD’s drumline will perform before the show begins.

SCAD was honored to participate in numerous ways for the “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” Savannah project and is pleased to open the doors of Trustees Theater for SCAD and Savannah to experience the show’s premier as a community.

The screening is free and open to the public. Donations for the Ronald McDonald House will be accepted at the screening.

Doors open at 7 p.m. The screening begins at 8 p.m.

There’s a new app in town for Savannah visitors and residents with little ones. Tour Buddy, a Savannah-based iPhone development and multimedia tour production company, recently released its newest app, Savannah for KIDS.

BleuBelle, Cherry Picked Consignments, and Savannah Magazine present dejaBLEU, the event. This is Savannah’s only women’s designer consignment sale. Many of the proceeds from our event go directly towards Dress for Success, an incredible national organization all about empowering women. The sale of the season is open to the public.

Proceeds generated from the tournament will benefit the Savannah/Chatham CASA program by providing holiday gifts to abused and neglected children during this upcoming season.

The tournament will be held on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at the Thunderbolt Marina beginning at 6:30 a.m. The entry fee is $50 per angler.

This is a Women’s social group established with one purpose, to develop friendship and fellowship among new residents and to introduce them to their new community.  Atlantic Armstrong University’s Gospel Choir will be here.
