The City of Savannah hosted its Earth Day Festival this past Saturday at the beautiful Forsyth Park. If you missed it, that doesn’t mean that you can’t celebrate the day on your own or with a few friends.

Savannah businesses and organizations offer several naturistic events today on National Earth Day. The Isaiah Davenport House Museum will host their Savannah Garden Exposition Preview Party at the Roundhouse Railroad Museum at 6:30 p.m. There will be Hors d’oeuvres and deserts provided by several local restaurants and caterers, in addition to  a silent auction.

Join in the spirit of voluntarism as Savannah takes to the streets (and the shelters, parks, and city) in a mass volunteer effort. Opportunities abound – find yours by calling CONTACT.
