Support Adult Literacy! This 5th annual event features the musical styling of Jazz Violinist Ricardo Ochoa and friends and a performance by Seersucker Live, a literacy performance group of local writers. Local musicians and writers come together for an amazing evening of Nashville-style Jazz and Southern prose to raise money for The Adult and Community Education Program at Royce Learning Center.

VIP tickets are available for $75, which includes a pre-show food and drink reception at 6:30pm at 45 Bistro. This event is proudly sponsored by our community partners Gulfstream Aerospace, The City of Savannah and Hancock Askew & Co., LLP.

Come Celebrate Valentine’s Day with the Coastal Jazz Association of Savannah. Grab Your Honey-Pie and Listen to the sweet sounds of the Savannah Stompers.

The SSJB was formed in 1995. Their traditional jazz sound ranges from New Orleans, Chicago and Memphis to the West Coast Revival movement of the late ‘30’s and early ‘40’s. The members are from varied walks of life, including a practicing architect, a pharmaceutical sales rep, and a Savannah School District band director.

The event is free for CJA members and $10 for non-members. Join and admission is FREE.

Jazz musician Ellis Hall already had a very successful career when he met Ray Charles in 2001 and soon after became his protege. The Savannah-born legend is now helping keep his mentor’s greatness alive.

Get ready for some Holiday Jazz Yule Love at The Westin presented by the Coastal Jazz Association. The 35th annual Holiday Concert and Jam Session takes place Christmas Night, and is a fundraiser for the CJA and will benefit the student scholarship education fund. For years, The Coastal Jazz Association has brought delightful jazz sounds to the Savannah area compliments of the Savannah Jazz Festival, and this year is sure to be no different. This year’s free festival will take place from Sunday, September 19th through Sunday, September 26th in Forsyth Park and surrounding Savannah areas.
