ArtTable, the national organization for professional women in the visual arts, celebrates 30 years of advancing women’s leadership with a weekend of high profile events in New York City, April 15-17, 2011, and recognizes leading women whose contributions have transformed the field of the visual arts.

The Georgia Historical Society hosted the 2011 Georgia Trustees’ Gala on Saturday, February 12, at the Hyatt Regency Savannah. Former UGA football coach Vince Dooley and Senator Sam Nunn were inducted as the state’s newest trustees. The black-tie affair featured a seated dinner and live entertainment by John Lee Hooker, Jr. Guests included Georgia Governor Nathan Deal, Sonny Dixon of WTOC, and University of Tennessee Head Coach Derek Dooley.

The Historic Savannah Foundation is pleased to announce that The Coastal Bank will serve as the premier sponsor for the 20th Annual Historic Savannah Foundation Gala.  This event will give you plenty of time to socialize starting with a cocktail party at 6:00.  Guests are divided up into groups and attend separate cocktail parties at homes within walking distance of the actual gala.  From 7:30-8:00 p.m. guests can walk over to the venue where you can enjoy dinner, live music, and dancing.  Tickets will be available until the event is sold out.
