This Weekend’s Fantastic Fairs & Festivals

Fried Snickers bars, funnel cakes and roasted corn taste best at one place and one place only: the fair. No matter how many places I go, or how many attempts I make on my own, the results just aren’t the same. So when fall sets in and those cravings begin, I know fair season is right around the corner. Being from a small town, the fair is pretty much a big deal. Sitting in traffic for hours due to attendees from seven surrounding counties was the start to what was sure to be a great night. If you’re like me, you still get that giddy, childish feeling when the carnies pour into town and traffic becomes abnormally heavy. In fact, you’ve probably got that feeling right now because fair season is in full swing.
