The Wisdom of Desserts
Having worked in many different venues, and seeing how food is made, prepared and eaten, I have come to the conclusion that if you serve desserts, they have to be as good or better than the rest of the menu.

Feeling enlightened and wanting to share, here a few tips that will make it easier to cook a steak, without a big hassle.

A Savory Sail through Savannah
Last evening, the ballroom at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center was a buzz, filled with revelers feasting on the finest foods that the city’s creative culinary chefs could conjure up. The 10th Annual Taste of Savannah, sponsored by the Savannah Area Tourism Leadership Council, hosted over 1,000 guests who sampled savory sweets and succulent sustenance while swooning and sashaying to the sounds of the Swingin’ Medallions singing on the spectacular stage.
Three food and wine afficionados were carefully selected and invited to judge the elaborate array of food entries, each created around a nautical theme. In addition to the awards graciously bestowed upon the winners by the 3 celebrity judges, guests were also asked to cast a ballot for their favorite dish. This vote determined who received the coveted Guest’s Choice Award at evening’s end.
