WHAT? The Uprights Citizens Brigade Touring Company, one of the country’s most renowned improvisational and sketch comedy troupes, is coming to Savannah for a one-night-only performance at the Lucas Theatre!

This special no-holds-barred event that relies on the audience to inspire spontaneous scenes, songs and games, is sponsored by the Lucas Theatre and SCAD’s Performing Arts Department. The Upright Citizens Brigade is home to such comedy superstars as Emmy-nominated comedian Amy Poehler from “Parks and Recreation,” Jack McBrayer from “30 Rock.” Bobby Moynihan and Horatio Sanz from “Saturday Night Live,” Ellie Kemper of “The Office,” and many, many more.

This performance is a kick-off to SCAD Performing Arts’ new improvisation and sketch comedy track led by the department’s newest professor, David Storck, most recently artistic director at Gotham City Improv in New York.
