The American Diabetes Association in Savannah requests your help in supporting our annual Kiss A Pig Campaign. On April 8, 2011 we are holding a Fashion Show with fashions by April Johnston (SCAD, Project Runway, Mangled Courtesan) with Hair and Make-up by Monica McMaster’s (BStreet Salon). The Fashion Show will be held.  at Club One Jefferson with doors opening at 6:30pm with a cocktail mixer and silent auction followed by The Fashion Show at 8:00pm.  Winners of the silent auction will be announced at the cocktail reception area around 10:00pm

The 2010 Sunsplash Outdoor Fitness Festival will combine a walk, cycle & kayak event all on one day to benefit the American Diabetes Association. A morning of vigorous physical activity for walkers, cyclists and kayak paddlers culminates in a family festival featuring live music, health vendors, outfitters and ends with a healthy feast!

Cost: $40 or $50 DOE / Family $70 for 4 MINIMUM

Armstrong Atlantic State University will host a Bowling Tournament to benefit Dr. Linda Bleicken’s AASU Kiss-a-Pig team for the American Diabetes Association’s 2010 Kiss-a-Pig Campaign.

Kiss-a-Pig is a unique fundraising event that pits local community leaders against each other in a contest to raise votes (each dollar equals one vote) for their campaigns. The candidate with the most votes wins the chance to kiss the pig. The pig will be kissed at the Hogwarts Magical Ball on Friday, May 21 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Savannah.

All funds raised during the Kiss-a-Pig campaign benefit American Diabetes Association, the nation’s leading organization dedicated to curing diabetes and improving the lives of all people affected by diabetes

Cost: $40.00 per person
