There will be a Sundowners Social benefitting “The Walk to End Alzheimer’s” on Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. This event will be Cocoa’s Dessert & Martini Bar on Wilmington Island.

Savannah Walk to End Alzheimer’s Team Captain Meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 14th at 5:30 pm at Local 11 Ten Restaurant, 1110 Bull Street. Anyone who has a passion to end Alzheimer’s disease will be welcome.

Tonight is the Savannah Walk to End Alzheimer’s Team Captain kickoff at Local 11Ten at 5:30 p.m. The kickoff will be on the newly opened rooftop section of the Local 11Ten restaurant, located at 1110 Bull Street (one block south of Forsyth Park). Come out for the captains’ meeting and enjoy some appetizers and have some fun.

The Savannah Memory Walk begins in Johnson Square and travels throughout downtown to raise awareness about Alzheimers. Registration beings at 9 a.m. Savannah’s own Magic Mark will be performing the opening.
