With SCAD graduation quickly approaching, many people would think that the year is over for SCAD students. It’s the opposite case for some, which you will see if you attend 24e.’s fashion show this Thursday, June 2nd at their location on 24 E. Broughton Street. The doors to the event open at 7 with the fashion show lasting from 8-10 on the second floor of their store on Broughton. There will be a $10 cover charge which includes wine and champagne.

On Thursday, April 14, The Savannah Downtown Business Association hosted their second Meet and Greet for mayoral candidate Ellis Cook at 24e. From 5- 7 p.m., Cook mingled with Savannah locals and answered questions about current issues and his platform. The SDBA is committed to hosting Meet and Greets to give citizens a closer look at the Savannah mayoral candidates.

Dive In

Cool off with one of the most popular trends in exterior design: salt water pools. These manmade ponds offer both health and financial benefits. Paver Lights

Pavers have been a hot trend in exterior design for some time due to their durability and clean aesthetic. Now, paver lights are adding another attractive element: the ability to highlight a back patio, walkway, or driveway with solar-charged lights. “They look really great at night and add to the ambiance if you like to entertain,” says owner of Quality Hardscapes, Fabio Santos. And since they’re self-powered, these lights don’t emit any harmful carbon dioxide, a perfect addition to the already eco-friendly benefits of pavers.
