7:30 P.M.— Forgot about Savannah Fashion Week 2013? Take advantage of one more chance to see fresh runway looks from local retailers. The event starts at 7:30 p.m. at Lucas Theatre and will feature up-and-coming designers and giveaways so don’t miss out—your inner fashionista will thank you. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased here.

SATURDAY, APRIL 26
10 A.M.— Enjoy an afternoon amidst ten acres of flowers and trails at the Savannah Botanical Gardens Rose Festival and Arts and Crafts Fair between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. The festival will offer information about the garden’s spring roses, a plant sale, Q&A with a master gardener and garden tours. Admission is free.

High Speed Action comes to Macon, Georgia

Macon’s reputation as a film location is growing with the addition of this exciting project. This spring, Macon, GA, will play a key role as a location to the upcoming action movie “Need for Speed.” Based on the popular video games, this film will be fraught with high-octane thrills and racing action. Director Scott Waugh, who also directed 2012’s “Act of Valor,” will be working on this DreamWorks Studios film. The movie will star Aaron Paul, Dominic Cooper, Imogen Poots and Michael Keaton.
