The Savannah-Chatham County Counter Narcotics Team is changing lives and protecting neighborhoods right outside our front doors. This specialized taskforce takes great pride in the service it does for the community, and that much is made clear in their extreme dedication and excellent results. Since its creation in 1994, the team has seized more than 200 pounds of cocaine, 5,000 pounds of marijuana and upwards of 1,400 firearms from drug dealers and other unsavory characters, totaling in nearly 14,000 arrests and millions of dollars in illegal substances.
