Savannah Vascular has the only board-certified vascular surgeons in the Coastal Empire. Each physician has undergone additional fellowship training from accredited Vascular Surgery or Interventional Radiology centers of excellence throughout the world, including the Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic, Emory University, Ohio State, and the University of Ultrecht, Netherlands. The physicians and staff strongly believe in disease prevention through patient education, lifestyle changes and medications proven to lower morbidity and mortality. The physicians specialize in state of the art and minimally invasive treatment of vascular disorders. These include atherectomy and stents for PAD (blockages), endografts for aneurysms, and laser closure for varicose veins. They also specialize in the management of leg wounds, carotid artery blockages and comprehensive management of other vascular disorders. Most minimally invasive interventions result in rapid recovery with little discomfort.
