Dr. David Oliver chose to practice medicine as a grade school child when he realized his concern for friends and family and his desire to make them feel better. He also realized he wasn’t squeamish and was confident when called upon to help someone that was sick or hurt. Dr. Oliver went to medical school and became further intrigued by the diversity of the ENT specialty. Now, he treats every age group from newborns to the elderly and performs a variety of surgeries. Some of the big changes that he sees coming for ENT care include the discovery of less invasive techniques. Endoscopic technology, balloon dilation technology, image guided surgery, automated instrumentation and improved imaging techniques all will improve care. Today, balloon sinuplasty procedures can be performed comfortably in the office with minimal downtime

Achievements: Practicing Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (ENT) in Savannah since 1994. Managing a solo ENT practice with his wife Rhonda since 2009. Past President of two of the nation’s oldest societies that are right here in Savannah: the Georgia Medical Society and the Forest City Gun Club.
