The 29th Anniversary SUMMERFEST

Summerfest, held annually in Historic Downtown York on the fourth Saturday in August, has been recognized at the South Carolina Governor’s Conference on Tourism and Travel as the Most Outstanding Festival of the Year in a community between 5,000 and 15,000 and by the Southeast Tourism Society for its Top 20 Events calendar. The Olde English District honored Summerfest as the 1996 Attraction of the Year. Summerfest is expected to draw a crowd of nearly 45,000!

Fleet Feet Sports Savannah and the Savannah Arts Academy have teamed up to bring you one of the prestigious XC Kickoff Classics across the nation. Come join us August 25 for this exciting XC event. The course is a beautiful, shady 5,000 meter flat course on grass located in Daffin Park in historic Savannah. This is a great spectator course with an exciting finish inside Optimist Stadium.

Admission: $50 per race per team or $10 per runner.
