BUG by Traci Letts
JUNE 22nd – 24th, 29th & 30th and JULY 1st
In a motel room outside Oklahoma City, a lonely waitress hiding from her abusive ex-husband is joined by a soft-spoken young drifter who might be an AWOL Gulf War veteran. And then they see the first bugs. This mind-bending tale of love, paranoia, and government conspiracy is a psycho-thriller that mixes terror and laughter at a fever pitch.

“In Celebration of our Independence,” the Savannah Winds, community wind symphony in residence at Armstrong, concludes its 2011-2012 subscription season by honoring America, her servicemen and women, and veterans of the United States armed forces with its highly popular Annual Patriotic Concert.
Underscoring brilliant marches of America’s iconic “March king” John Philip Sousa, the uplifting music of legendary composer Irving Berlin and the “blessing of America” to the tune of country-western songwriter Lee Greenwood, this exciting concert features senior military narration; 3ID honor guard to present our great nation’s colors; and Chatham County Veteran of the Year honors.
This proud concert event honors distinguished military service and crescendos to great fanfare culminating with an appearance by one of America’s celebrity personas to guest conduct the Winds in performance of John Philip Sousa’s bombastic Stars and Stripes Forever. Be sure to guess who our surprise iconic guest will be this year.
