“Jukebox Journey” is the #1 downtown entertainment extravaganza that enlivens the city’s nightlife in the refurbished c.1818 Savannah Theatre. Popular music and professional choreography from the 1940’s to the present are presented in a bright, colorful, and fast-moving production filled with lavish costumes and comedic skits.

Pianist Ivan Moshchuk, a recipient of the 2010 Gilmore Young Artist Award, will perform works of Bach, Lizst, Rachmaninoff, and Medtner. Mr. Moshchuk’s five appearances as part of the 2010 International Gilmore Keyboard Festival were made to excellent critical acclaim with three recitals and two orchestra engagements. Of his Gilmore solo recital debut, the Grand Rapids Press praised him for being “a gifted young musician with the mind to unravel the density of Rachmaninoff . . . and the fingers and wrists to realize it. Currently a student at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, Mr. Moshchuk is studying piano performance with legendary Leon Fleisher. The concert is Messiah Lutheran’s gift to the community, but contributions will be gratefully accepted to help defray costs. Children’s nursery available at no charge. Eric works with multiple mediums to create unique, rhythmic collages that inspire the viewer to recognize the beauty in everyday life.
