Remember to includDrive-thru Low-cost Shot and Microchip Clinic Sponsored by Humane Society
June event to offer affordable safety for pets
On Saturday, June 16, the Humane Society will hold a drive-thru low-cost
vaccination and microchip clinic. Up-to-date vaccinations are critical to
every pet’s wellbeing: they prevent your pet and best four legged friend
from contracting or spreading highly contagious, even deadly diseases.
Affordable Vaccinations available at $10 each and include:
§ Rabies
§ Da2PV (for dogs)
§ Bordetella (kennel cough for dogs)
§ FVRCP (for cats)
In addition the valuable service of micro-chipping pets will be offered as
well.
Description: Description: :::Desktop:drive thru dogs.jpgPet ID is critical
to reuniting lost pets and owners. Microchips are the most reliable form of
identification. Any veterinary office, animal shelter, animal control
facility or Humane Society can scan for a chip whose registration provides
owner contact information.
Return-to-owner rates are significantly higher for animals with microchips than for those without. The micro-chipping procedure is relatively painless and takes just seconds. The Humane Society will implant and register microchips for just $20 each.
The Drive Thru clinic from The Humane Society of Greater Savannah is the easiest and most affordable way to ensure your “best friend” is getting all the care he or she deserves.
Customers do not have to leave their cars: Volunteers of the HSGS will assist and take care of all pets brought to the clinic.
