Tybee Island YMCA offers Surf Camp the weeks of June 25th, July 9th and July 23rd. Surf Camp teaches the basics to the advanced skills of surfing to participants at several locations around the island. Campers will learn about water safety, tides, balancing on a board, duck diving, paddling, wave riding and an introduction to stand up paddle boarding. Camp is open to all surf levels and campers are divided into age groups. All campers MUST be able to swim 25 yrds. and be comfortable with ocean tides, waves and undertow. Camp runs from 9am to 12pm.
