The Downtown Business Association’s monthly luncheon at Outback Steakhouse welcomed store owners and the business power players of Savannah. The attendance was strong and the room filled with newcomers and members networking and getting aquainted.

When we spoke to President of the D.B.A Ruel Joyner, owner of 24e, before he took the podium we queried him about the agenda of the day and his sharp attire including Bananna Republic white button down and black and white pin-striped p ants. The ensemble echoed the atmosphere: Doing business in style.

Also fashionably in attendence were WJCL’s Jennifer Andrews, City of Savannah’s Anthony Hood, Old Town Trolley Company’s Colonel and special guest speaker Mayor Pro Tem Alderman Van Johnson.The whole room consisted of athe dressed-to-impress business community. The wonderful waitstaff kept the everyone’s mind on the business at hand by keeping the warm bread, salad, and Outback entrees coming.
