Broughton Street’s Dog Days of Summer
August 3rd, 2012 | Story by: Gen Fuller
River Street ushers in the first Friday of every month with fireworks, and Broughton Street is joining in on the action. The Dog Days of Summer on Friday, August 3, is a pet-friendly event with after-hours shopping for you and treats for your four-legged companion. Shops will remain open until 9 p.m., and many will have treats and water available for dogs. Oliver Bentley’s Barking Bakery treats will also be available at several locations.
Many of the vendors will donate a portion of the proceeds to support the Humane Society of Greater Savannah.TailsSpin, located for the night at Clipper Trading Co., is offering nail clippings for a $5 donation to the Humane Society. Find out more information at Broughton Street’s Facebook page.
