Sponsored by the Live Oak Public Libraries, the festival will feature more than a dozen authors from around the country and Coastal Empire, including Michael Buckley and former Atlanta Brave Brian Jordan. The Georgia Center for the Book will also present award-winning author www.ericlitwin.com/. Litwin’s book Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes is featured on the Georgia Center for the Book’s list of 25 Books All Young Georgians Should Read. There will also be plenty of food and entertainment on hand including a graphic novel and comic area for the older kids, and arts and crafts for the little ones. Sure Aaron Eckhart was brilliant as a tobacco lobbyist in Thank You for Smoking and he provided Batman with his most formidable foe in The Dark Knight. But if anyone’s interested—and I think you should be—Eckhart is born to play the role of Prince Charming.

He is full of charm and ease. Before he even speaks, I want to crawl into his dimples and take a nap. Or tousle his dark blond, freeform hair. But in the name of professionalism I instead welcome him to Savannah and get down to business. Showbiz, that is.
