Daily Blog: Capitalist Debris

santanaOn display at Local 11 Ten this December is an exciting group of paintings by Spanish artist Alexandro Santana. The show, entitled Capitalist Debris, continues through the end of the year.

Ranging in size, the works are vibrant, eye-catching. Blissful color schemes masks an underlying drama. Each piece invites the viewer to personally interpret the work. Part of what makes Santana’s work so much fun is the challenge each piece poses to the viewer—do you seek representational imagery in an abstract circumstance or do lines and value merely taunt you with illusions?

Santana poses something psychological, something cerebral and at the same time, dreamlike. Each time you look, Santana shows you something new.

Great advice, especially for girls!

Daily Blog: Healthy Holidays

Does Christmas shopping make you anxious? Have all those parties and goodies at the office caused you to put on a few extra unwelcomed pounds? Is there no time left in your busy day to exercise? Does having all those family members gathered together under one roof cause added stress in your already hectic life?

Then it’s time to get away from it all and treat yourself to the gift of health this holiday season! Simply book a 3 Day Getaway or 1 Day Pass to one of the “Top 5 US Health Spas,” the Hilton Head Health in Shipyard Plantation. The island is only a short 30-minute drive from “bridge to bridge.” From the minute you set foot in the facility, you feel like you’ve been transported to a special oasis designed to help you re-focus your priorities and re-energize your life.
