Wormsloe will commemorate Georgia’s role in the 1739-1748 war between Britain and Spain. A brief presentation at the Visitor Center will be followed by a walking tour of the site. The program will also include military drills and black powder weapons demonstrations.

Fleet Feet Sports and the 200 Club Club of the Coastal Empire host The Savannah Mile. Run in several heats including a family division and age groups, the course begins at the south end of Forsyth Park and finishes on Broughton street. A post-race party with food and an awards ceremony will take place in Johnson Square.

All proceeds benefit the 200 Club of the Coastal Empire, providing immediate financial assistance to the surviving spouse and children of local law enforcement officers who lose their lives in the line of duty while protecting our community.
