As South’s Getaways Editor, Shannon has found herself in Savannah after years of adventurous rambling, which took her to New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, France, Spain, Italy, Costa Rica, Mexico and Belize. A native of New Jersey and a long-time Asheville, North Carolina resident, she is a graduate of the University of Georgia in English and Anthropology. Shannon has recently directed her wanderlust towards discovering the American South and delivers tips and tricks to getting the most out of traveling in this rich region and beyond.
