Jim Reed
“Pop culture journalist Jim Reed served for close to a decade as the Music Editor of alt.weekly paper Connect Savannah, where he waxed poetic on the creative arts and interviewed hundreds of renowned authors, musicians, filmmakers and thespians. An active participant and pundit on the local music scene for 25 years, he also founded The Psychotronic Film Society of Savannah and curates their regular screenings of indie, cult and foreign cinema at The Sentient Bean Coffeehouse (Wednesdays at 8pm) and Muse Arts Warehouse (two Sundays a month). As a founding member of Tiny Team Concerts, he has helped to independently promote local appearances by internationally known, critically acclaimed performers. An amateur Dylanologist and Lenny Bruce acolyte, he remains resolute in his (unpopular) belief that Bossanova is the finest Pixies LP by far."
