Connie Gomez
Connie is South Magazine's Entertainment Editor and Scenes Photographer. She is the author of "Italy: A Compilation of Photographs and Stories," in which her photograph of a Ligurian vineyard was selected as a runner-up in National Geographic's Best Shot Photo Competition. Originally from New York, she worked as a researcher and copyeditor for the Paris Bureau Chief of Newsweek Magazine at Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and for the Senior Editor and Art Director at Random House. She is a former dancer and maintains strong ties to the Broadway world.
